Ted Greensmith-West

Education:  LLB, BA, Victoria University of Wellington

Prior to joining Brookfields in 2022, Ted appeared regularly in the Waitangi Tribunal representing claimants in various inquiries and worked for the Crown in resolving Treaty settlement disputes between post-settlement governance entities, territorial authorities, and Crown agencies.

Ted has experience in a range of resource management and local government issues, including roading law, the marine and coastal area, drafting of abatement notices and other enforcement matters, and matters between local authorities and iwi. He also has experience providing advice to Councils on queries related to resource consents and Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act matters.

Ted believes in providing excellent service to his clients and achieving lasting sustainable management outcomes for New Zealand’s environment.
